ASPO 2009 International Peak Oil Conference
System Reset: Global Energy and the New Economy
Sheraton Hotel, Denver, Colorado
Sunday, October 11- Tuesday, October 13, 2009
Saturday, October 10, 2009
1:00 PM to 9:00 PM Pre-Conference Workshop: Survive and Thrive After Peak Oil
Creating Personal Plans for the Coming Decades
The Challenge: How should we plan our lives in the face of peak oil, global climate change, and the ongoing financial crisis? Much thought has gone into policy questions around energy, but less attention has been given to helping people prepare their own plans for such concerns as finance, careers, education, nutrition, community, housing, and transportation. It’s time for all of us to help fix that! Continued “business as usual” planning for individuals, families, and communities will not be good enough any more.
