The Energy Bulletin is updated regularly by the inimitable Tom Whipple. It features The Energy Bulletin Daily news articles compilation and The Energy Bulletin Weekly headlines compilation. The website also includes some archives of The Association for the Study of Peak Oil & Gas USA (ASPO-USA) and The Petroleum Analysis Centre (including its Oil Age journal). The website is managed by Post Carbon Institute.
History
Starting in 2008, The Association for the Study of Peak Oil & Gas USA (ASPO-USA) published news and analysis to help Americans understand and adapt to the changing realities of oil and fossil fuels. These publications ultimately became the daily Peak Oil News newsletter and the weekly Peak Oil Review, with archives kept at a website called peak-oil.org. In December 2017 ASPO-USA ceased operations; Post Carbon Institute took over management of the website and continued publishing the newsletters under the direction of long-time ASPO-USA editors Tom Whipple and Steve Andrews.
In March 2020, the website was renamed energybulletin.org, the daily newsletter was renamed The Energy Bulletin Daily, and the weekly newsletter was renamed The Energy Bulletin Weekly.
